NEW DELHI: Indian handset maker Lava has launched its new budget smartphone Iris 465, which is priced at Rs 4,499.
The phone, which supports 21 Indian languages, sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. It comes with 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Backed by a 1750mAh battery, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and sports a 3.2MP rear camera with flash support and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera on board. The camera offers features such as face recognition, smile detection, self timer, panorama capture and continuous shot.
In terms of connectivity, the dual-sim smartphone supports Edge connectivity on GSM networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.
