New Update

Kick Communications, a US-based service provider, is seriously considering setting up Data Centres in India. A company official said the company has tied up with DCM for this and specifics of the plan would be worked out soon. Kick, which claims to own 29,000 miles of fibre in US and an STM 16 link between UK and US, began its operations in India in July 2001 positioning itself as a one-stop for call centres. Its offerings for call centres include bandwidth services, co-location, purchase scheme for high-end call centre equipment and even business development and market support for them. The company claims to have signed up eight Indian call centres for different services and has mopped up revenues to the tune of 2.5 million dollars since July last.
