Ki-Wan Kim to replace Soon Kwon as new MD of LG India

NEW DELHI: LG Electronics has appointed Ki-Wan Kim, the Executive VP of LG’s Home Entertainment Overseas Sales and Marketing Group as the new Managing Director of its India operations with effect from August 1, 2015.

He will replace Soon Kwon, who after a five-year stint in India, will relocate to LG’s Korea HQ to take over as the head of its Information Display (ID) business globally.

With more than 30 years of work experience at LG, Kim has served as the CEO of MEA Regional company and the Global Marketing Officer at LG Electronics earlier.
