The Jio Rs 149 plan is the company's new most economical or least expensive plan. Reliance Jio's Rs 149 package has a 20-day validity period. Additionally, subscribers receive 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calls, 1GB of bandwidth per day, JioCinema, JioCloud, and JioTV. Please take note that this plan is ineligible for Jio's 5G Welcome Offer, which grants consumers really unlimited 5G data.

Jio will be able to increase its ARPU number, which was Rs 180.5 in Q1 FY24. Airtel's ARPU reached Rs 200 in contrast. Jio and Airtel both make significantly less money from each client than Airtel does. For Reliance Jio to approach Airtel's ARPU level, significant pricing increases and an increase in high-paying users are necessary.

The company's new most affordable package is priced quite similarly to Airtel's, which is Rs 155. With 24 days of validity and unlimited voice calling, Airtel's plan is a better value choice if you're seeking for validity and voice calling perks. However, the overall data benefit is only 1GB. While Jio's package offers 1GB of daily data, its validity is only 20 days as opposed to 24 days like Airtel's.
