Interactive multiverse elements to be included in RIL's 45th AGM

RIL has added Koo and Instagram as two new social media channels for users to acess the webcast for this AGM.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), will hold its 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at 2 PM (IST) through video conference and other audio visual means, which will include a 3D interactive experience zone in the Metaverse.

Expectations are high leading up to RIL's AGM, which is known for being announement-heavy. This year, as in the previous three, the focus is expected to be on providing more clarity regarding the specific timelines being announced for separate IPOs of the retail and telecom businesses, its 5G rollout plans, and Chairman Mukesh Ambani's succession plans among other announcements.

JioMeet, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Koo are some of the platforms mentioned. The team GMetriXR-powered AGM VR platform allows users to virtally explore the longe and engage with the highlights of the company's integrated annual report 2021-22 from a business perspective.

RIL has added Koo and Instagram as two new social media channels for users to acess the webcast for this AGM. The business has also turned on its Whatsapp chatbot to encourage spectator participation in the AGM that will be held electronically.
