Indians Can Now Roam in Pakistan

The government has decided to permit Indian service providers to enter into international roaming arrangements with cellular operators in Pakistan, on an experimental basis for a period of four months. This facility can be provided by all cellular operators except those operating in Jammu & Kashmir and Northeastern states. The continuance of this arrangement shall be reviewed after three months. Following this, Bharti has signed a bilateral roaming agreement with Mobilink of Pakistan. The roaming service started in February.
