India to be Invensys’ Manufacturing Hub

Invensys Powerware India has decided to make India a manufacturing hub for its South Asia activities. It has also decided to
meet the demands of Sri Lanka market from India. 

"Increasing local manufacturing will give us an edge over others," said Mr. C P Quek, president (Asia Pacific), Invensys Powerware, a division of Invensys. He further added, "India has a vast, experienced and skilled workforce including engineers.

This leads to an ability to absorb technology to produce consistent quality products at a relatively lower cost."
