Idea launches 3G wi-fi dongle at Rs 2,199

Targeting home users, small office home office and business professionals, country’s third-largest telco Idea Cellular has launched a 3G Wi-fi dongle ‘Idea Smart Wi-fi’, priced at Rs 2,199.

The first 21.6 Mbps 3G Wi-fi dongle from Idea offers 5.76 Mbps upload speed and is equipped with an inbuilt Wi-Fi antenna which can also run on minimal power sources like laptop or car charging points.

The Idea 3G Smart Wi-fi can connect up to 10 devices such as laptop, handset, tablet, game player, digital camera, music player etc, at a time.

Idea 3G Smart Wi-fi will be available in all Idea’s retail and service outlets across 11 Idea 3G markets--Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh East and West.

Idea users can avail from a range of 3G data packs starting from Rs 250 to Rs 1,250.
