Idea introduces prepaid roaming services in Assam & North East

Idea Cellular has introduced roaming services for its prepaid subscribers in Assam and North East circles. Soon after the launch of its EDGE enabled GSM mobile services in the region, Idea has now introduced roaming services at most affordable rates in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura.

As per the new Roaming tariff plan, Idea subscribers can make all Local calls at R1 per minute, STD at R1.50 per minute and SMS at R1.50 per message. While Incoming SMS is absolutely free, calls will be charged at R1 per minute.
