IBM and CSG to Bill for China Telecom

China Telecom has selected IBM and CSG Systems to deploy billing and mediation solutions for supporting the convergent telecommunications services offered by Shanghai Telecom. IBM will serve as the systems integrator on the project and will work with CSG to implement the Kenan/BP and CSG's data mediation solutions. The solutions will able to support up to 10 million subscribers, and services such as fixed line, a local wireless loop service, broadband, and other IP services.
