With an aim to increase the communication between dealers and resellers within the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Twin-cities computer dealers association (TCCDA) has facilitated intercom connection to almost all the dealers and resellers.
“Earlier we used to think twice about making calls even within the city, but now all the areas are covered under this intercom facility and we can speak to anyone on our fingertips,” informed TCCDA Hyderabad President KVR
Menon.
The system is implemented by Hyderabad based Tata Teleservices and it connects more than 125 resellers and dealers situated at different locations within the twin cities. “We have booked lines for more than 250 resellers so that as we grow in number, we can add them up for this facility. Communication is very important in our business because prices vary on a daily basis and we need to inquire about it, now we can do it more easily,” Menon added.
As a result of this facility, the resellers are a well connected lot for now they can make as many calls as they want, and that too free of charge. “This has been a good experiment by the association. Now we speak a lot more so even if there is a slight decrease or increase in the market price of any product, I can know it almost instantly. On a daily basis we are making more than 100 calls per day. Tata is charging Rs 50 per month for this facility which is quite nominal,” said, Compage Computers Pvt Ltd Director Rajmohan
Rao.
