Hughes To Provide ASP services

Hughes Escorts Communications, a joint venture of Hughes Network Systems and Escorts launched its ASP for its corporate customers. Hughes also launched its business portal. Besides offering the ASP services, the portal would also provide various value added features to serve the business needs of Hughes customers and others. "This portal would serve as a gateway for all of HECL's broadband applications including connectivity (satellite and terrestrial), hosting (through internet data centre) and ASP services," Ashish Chowdhary, vice-president of broadband services, Hughes Escorts Communications told reporters in New Delhi.
