Huawei has showcased its CDMA small cell solution, with WiFi, at the CDMA Summit 2011 held in Hong Kong.
The solution offers operators to deploy networks quickly, increase the QoE (Quality of Experience) of customers and reduce the O&M costs (Operation and Maintenance) as both the macro and micro networks are deployed using one management system, said the Chinese company.
The plug-n-play solution can be used without GPS signal, enabling the availability of coverage in areas such as basements, elevators and mines and supports access technologies like DSL, LAN, PON and satellite.
''We're glad to launch our CDMA Small Cell and WiFi integration solution, which will provide better coverage in blind and hot areas and improve the quality of experience for end-users,'' said Wu Hui, president of CDMA
