According to the contracts signed on November 18, 2009, Huawei will construct 2,500 base stations in Vietnam covering 46 percent of the population in the first phase of the project, prior to April 30, 2010. Thanks to Huawei's industry-leading SingleRAN solution and fourth-generation base transceiver station (BTS), EVNTelecom's new network will be able to smoothly evolve to HSPA+ or LTE, which greatly protects EVNTelecom's investment in the future.

The network also deploys Huawei's intelligent packet network (IPN) solution, which offers the industry's largest capacity PS equipment to simplify the network and provides an innovative intelligent traffic management solution to help EVNTelecom offer high QoS services.
