Hewlett Packard (HP) has announced two LTE solutions, enabling telecom companies to deliver personalized mobile experience to there subscribers.
The launched offerings for communications service providers (CSPs) include- HP Home Subscriber Server (HSS) solution, supporting multiple networks and is enhanced with mobility management features enabling CSPs switch smoothly from 2G/3G networks to LTE networks; HP Subscriber, Network and Application Policy (SNAP) management solution, integrating real-time charging (billing), providing CSPs with the convinience to apply business rules that allow personalized services and offers to customers.
The HP HSS solution helps CSPs to provide uninterrupted service as users move between networks. With a new dual-registration process, it allows for fast switch-over between networks, while the HP SNAP solution integrates policy and charging rules to create a single, holistic view of rules that draws on data from diverse sources, including the network (both 3G and LTE), billing systems, customer data stores and application environments.
