HCL Tech to Enable Multimedia on Texas Instruments Mobile Platform

Texas Instruments (TI), one of the earliest transistor manufacturers and a world leader in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, has contracted HCL Technologies to incorporate multimedia solutions and services into its OMAP platform. TI's OMAP platform has been selected by Nokia, Palm, NEC, Fujitsu, LG Electronics, Panasonic Mobile Communications, HTC, and others for manufacturing their 2.5 and 3G wireless devices.
