HCL Infosystem launches Enterprise Commercial Channel

HCL Infosystems has launched Enterprise Commercial Channel (ECC), a major initiative in its enterprise channel strategy. In line with the company's objective of strengthening its footprint all over the country towards addressing SMB segment, ECC will not only extend HCL's and its alliance partner's range of ICT solutions to SMB's but also will provide opportunities to Channel partners to take complete bouquet of HCL's ICT Solutions to end customers. This would help the partners to grow their business by moving up in the value chain and provide complete ICT solutions. In order to have better focus and defined approach towards channel partners, the company has defined its strategy for channel partners that redistribute the focus areas for channel business addressing SMBs, the three broad categories of channel partners under this will be Strategic Business partners, Business Partners & Registered Resellers. Through its Enterprise Commercial Channel (ECC) HCL further equips the partners with the ability to provide their customers differentiated technology offerings and built to order customized configurations. Channel partners will be eligible for specialized pre-sales and post sales support, joint lead addressals, incentives, training, access to partner sections on the website and extensive marketing support. George Paul, Executive Vice President, HCL Infosystems said, “Our strength over the years has been our strong relationship with the channel community and through this initiative we are sure that to take it even further. With this strategic approach we will be able to address the upcoming SMB market a lot better and are confident that this strategy will prove to be a win — win situation for customers, channel partners and HCL”. HCL Infosystems plans to work with 100 strategic business partners and 400 channel partners across the country addressing the SMB segment. SMBs normally look for easy to use and low TCO technologies. The paradigm shift is happening among the SMEs where they have started treating technology as a business transformer rather than a mere enabler. Through Enterprise Commercial Channel HCL would address this need of SMEs.
