Hathway To Utilize Tata Power’s Broadband Network

Hathway will be locating optic fibre nodes at various points in the network. This is expected to substantially improve the quality of television signals and also enable other valued added services. Hathway is planning to set up more than 50 nodes across the city in the next one year. Moreover, Tata Power’s underground fibre cabling will make Hathway’s distribution set up more reliable with no interference from overhead cabling. Hathway will ride on Tata Power’s state-of-the-art Gigabit Ethernet IP networks on DWDM based intelligent optical transport system. Hathway is a pioneer in cable internet technology and provides its services across Mumbai. In the future, various other world class services will be rolled out through this network viz. Digital channels and interactive TV.
