Small business owners in the state can go to www.indiagetonline.in and use the tool to get a free website and web hosting for one year powered by HostGator, a US bweb hosting company.
According to the company the businesses also get a customized domain .in name and free tools, training and resources to succeed online.
The company has also showcased its new tool, Google global market finder, which is a free online tool for advertisers to find new markets overseas. The tool is designed to help Indian businesses enhance their business and reach out to potential customers in the international markets.
''There is a strong demand for products/ services offered by businesses in Rajasthan on the internet but most businesses in Rajasthan don't have a website and they're missing out on the opportunity. By introducing 'India get your business online' we want to help users find the businesses and thereby help entrepreneurs in Rajasthan to grow their business online,'' said Nitin Bawankule, head, online sales, Google India.
The company has also appointed Pensa Media, a search agency as its partner in order to help businesses run campaigns using Google AdWords, an advertising platform of the company, which allows businesses to run advertising on Google search when users do searches online.
The biggest benefit of AdWords is that businesses only pay when the users clicks on the ad. Businesses also get the benefit of targeting only those customers who are looking for them online. Businesses can start with a budget as low as 500 rs a day and increase their spends as their business grows, said the company.
The global market finder and Google ads for global advertisers will be available to advertisers in 43 languages.
