Google has announced the latest version of Google Earth app for Android powered tablets. Google Earth, which was released in 2005, enables users to explore the world with click of a button. Now the company has updated its app to power tablets that runs on Google's Android mobile operating system.
With the recent update, Google has announced the support for fully textured 3D buildings and features like a new action bar up top, enabling easier access to search, the option to “fly to your location” and layers such as Places, Panoramio photos, Wikipedia and 3D buildings.
The new update of Google Earth is available for Android 2.1 and Tablet design is available for devices running Android 3.0 Honeycomb and above.
