Baba Bazaar's IB Saxena has gone a step ahead from selling vegetables online.
No! He is not into selling samosas (fried triangular vegetable pasty)! However,
the SaMoSa that he has just launched isn't any less spicy than the original
stuff. Claiming to be the world's first user configurable SMS service with
microbilling support, SaMoSa holds out the promise of enabling both corporates
and individuals to create and operate their own personal as well as group SMS
services for accessing web content, schedules, messaging (SMS and email), and
custom applications. Available at a price of Rs 1000 for group usage and free
for personal use, this friendly mobile Application Service Provider (ASP)
service comes from Saboori Communications Pvt Ltd, a JV of IB Saxena Design
Labs, in association with AirTel. Though currently available only to AirTel
subscribers in Delhi, this service is shortly expected to be up in other cities
where AirTel has presence.
