Ericsson seeks vigilance panel probe into BSNL's gear tender

Ericsson has sought an investigation by the Central Vigilance Commission into the ongoing tender floated by Bharat Sanchar Nigam to buy GSM gear for supporting its subscribers.

Though Ericsson has already dropped out of the bidding, it has written to the CVC seeking a probe into whether BSNL was diluting the security norms for any other vendor post the submission of technical bids.
