NEW DELHI: A Department of Telecom (DoT) panel may meet this week or next week to discuss the issue of net neutrality, a principal that oblige internet service providers to treat all data in the internet equally, without discriminating or charging differentially with respect to user or content, media reports said.

The meeting will be third since the committee was formed in January to examine economic impact of implementation of net-neutrality principle on the telecom sector.

"Two meetings of the panel have already taken place and the third meeting is likely soon," reports said quoting sources.
