In an attempt to deepen its engagement with CXO's and senior IT managers, Dell has launched a new initiative, Storage Forum India 2012. The solutions offered through this forum would be targeted at solving issues such as capacity constraints, manual and complex administration, lack of simplified reporting and the inability to rapidly respond to the changing demands of their organizations.
The Storage Forum India 2012 would be a multi-city initiative, scheduled on May 18th and 24th, at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai and Le Meridian, Windsor Place, Delhi, respectively. The event will host CXO's and partners from PAN India, and will see a series of executive and technical sessions plus hands-on access to the Dell Fluid Data architecture and the entire storage portfolio including the Compellent, EqualLogic, PowerVault and DX Object Storage platforms.
Dell is addressing the data storage challenges that arise from such big data requirements, by delivering solutions that help solve customer pain points.
The event serves as an open forum for customers and channel partners to discuss key trends in the storage industry and gain exclusive insight into Dell's Fluid Data architecture strategy. Also at the Forum, Dell will announce new solutions that enable efficient IT by helping customers to manage data through automation and greater agility.
"Dell's 'Fluid by Design' data architecture puts the right data in the right place at the right time for the right cost. Attendees will benefit from technology solutions through knowledge sessions, technical advice, insights from experts and firsthand experience of our products" said Harsha Lal- Executive Director and General Manager, Dell India.
The conference will also have keynotes sessions by partners like Microsoft and VMware to provide sessions on how they have integrated their work force along with Dell storage.
