D-Link Introduces Category 6 Cabling Products Range

D-Link India Ltd has introduced the entire range of Category 6 cabling products. These products are the latest addition to D-Link’s structured cabling product portfolio and have twice the bandwidth of category 5e cabling. This improved bandwidth, together with vastly improved immunity from external noise, provides the potential for D-Link’s category 6 products to support multi-gigabit applications.

Characteristics of D-Link’s Category 6 copper cable include larger copper conductors, internal divider to separate the pairs and reduce cross talk noise and greater overall diameter. Benefits of D-Link’s Category 6 products include more bandwidth throughput compared to category 5e, from 100 MHz to 250 MHz, support of emerging applications more cost-effective solutions. D-Link Cat 6 products have been certified by the Underwriters Laboratories Inc to meet ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1 standards. D-Link offers 25 years product warranty on Category 6 products used at D-Link certified sites
