CWI and Cisco in Golden Partnership

Cisco has awarded the its Gold Partnership certification to Cable & Wireless India (CWI). CWI will work as an SI for Cisco and offer end-to-end managed services to Cisco's customers.

This gold certification states that Cisco considers Cable & Wireless to be providing the highest level of customer support and customer satisfaction. 

Cable & Wireless has now become the first telecommunications company to become a Cisco Gold Partner in India. 

In FY 2004-05, CWI raked in between $17.5-18 million from India as revenue. Managed services were the primary contributor, apart from bandwidth sales. This year the company expects a 50 percent growth and again managed services will be a bigger contributor to the pie.

CWI specializes in IPCC and will leverage on this platform with Cisco products. 

This will is the first time CWI is in partnership with Cisco in India, and CWI has leapt directly to the gold spot.
