Carrier Access Code to Cost Rs 1,956 Crore

The cost of implementing carrier access code has been pegged at Rs 1,956 crore, according to Trai chairman Pradip
Baijal.

Trai is looking at working out the modalities of how this expense, required for upgrading exchanges to support the new system, could be shared between players.
