Centre for Development of Advance Computing (C-DAC), research and development organization, under the Department of Information Technology (DIT) and Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (MCIT), will launch its multi-lingual portal today in Mumbai.
C-DAC's website — www.cdac.in — will be available in 22 Indian languages. This initiative is focused on multilingual computing and allied areas that will address various key areas, including speech processing, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and localization.
Sachin Pilot, Minister of State for Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Professor Rajat Moona, director general of C-DAC will launch the website.
