BT delivers B2B telepresence solution for Wipro in India

BT has signed an agreement with Wipro Technologies, to provide a fully-managed video conferencing exchange service comprising Cisco TelePresence technology running on BT's global Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. Under the agreement, BT will provide B2B exchange connectivity which will enable seamless video and voice communications between Wipro, its partners and customers. BT's solution provides Wipro with complete on-going support using BT's Video Business Unit (VBU) Concierge service.

BT's Global Video Exchange service - a fully managed B2B Telepresence service - will enable Wipro to reach outside of its enterprise to develop a virtual ecosystem that connects with global clients, partners and vendors that are critical to its business success. The solution uses high-definition video and multi-dimensional sound to offer a high quality, life-like videoconferencing experience, giving users the feeling of being in the same room as the other participants, wherever those participants happen to be.
