TDSAT has allowed BSNL to continue with its Plan-325. The company was initially allowed to offer this plan only for three months as an introductory offer by the TRAI. The plan was due to expire on January 18 and the company had filed an application in TDSAT for the extension.
Under plan-325, BSNL CellOne was charging Rs 325 as monthly rental with free incoming calls originating from its own network and Rs 2 per minute for outgoing calls to its network and Rs 2.40 for other networks. This was challenged by private cellular operators who said BSNL’s 325 plan was anti-competitive.
