BSNL to Provide Value Added Service Through IVRs

BSNL has invitated proposals from companies for providing value-added services on IVRs to the basic telephone subscribers of BSNL on non-exclusive, revenue sharing and franchise basis. 

The value-added services on IVRs to the basic telephony subscribers of BSNL shall include a BSNL info-line and shall also include the following:

• Tele- Horoscope (General Tips/ Answers to queries/consultation) 

• Tele- Astrology (Daily forecast/weekly forecast/Birthday forecast) 

• Feng Shui/ Vaastu (General Tips/ Answers to queries/consultation) 

• Music-on-demand (Music Albums/ Movie songs/Instrumental music, etc) 

• News-on-demand (Current affairs/ Political updates/Business updates/ Sports news) 

• Voice Greetings (Delivery of recorded voice greetings within PSTN of
  BSNL) 

• Opinion polls/ Quiz/ Contests 

• Shopping Infoline (‘Discount Sales’ Today/ Shopping delights/ Baazar info, etc) 

• TV Infoline (Movies tonight/ Soaps today/ Programs of interest, etc.) 

• City Infoline (Hotels/Restaurants/Theatres/Hospitals near to you, etc.) 

• Tel Infoline (Emergency nos/Public utility nos., etc)
