Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has opposed sector regulator Trai's suggestion to take back CDMA spectrum.
It said that it will ask the telecom department to dismiss Trai's proposal calling on the telecom operator to return the bulk of its CDMA spectrum in the 800 MHz band, according to media reports.
In its pre-auction recommendations on the pricing CDMA spectrum last week, Trai has suggested that BSNL return half of its current 800 MHz spectrum holdings in most circles.
