Bharti's Beetel Teletech launches 2G, 3G handsets

Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company, has entered the mobile handset market with the launch of a range of second-generation and third-generation phones.In the first phase of the launch, the Beetel brand mobile phones will be available across six states in northern India and the seven north-eastern states.

The phones are priced between INR1,750 and INR7,000. The company, a distributor of telecom and allied products, plans to launch its phones across India by the end of the fiscal year through March 2011.
