Bharti Teletech Wins Golden Peacock Award

Bharti Teletech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Enterprises and manufacturer of telephone brand Beetel, has been awarded the Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Services Award in Telecommunications sector for 2002. A panel of judges comprising of AM Ahmadi, former chief justice of India, Brajesh Kumar, director general of National Productivity Council, N Vittal, former chief vigilance commissioner and Lt. Gen. Surinder Nath, chairman UPSC selected Bharti Teletech for this Award. The Award is a recognition of its feature-rich telephone, Millennium ClipMax, as the most innovative product/ services offering in 2002 from a wide field in the telecommunications sector. Millennium ClipMax is the first indigenously designed and manufactured telephone with caller line identification feature combined with two-way speaker functions.
