New Update

Bharti Telesoft, has deployed PreTUPS, an open, standards-based prepaid
solution, at AKTEL, one of Bangladesh's GSM operators. With PreTUPS, AKTEL will
be enabling its prepaid subscribers to top-up their accounts directly or
indirectly. In the case of direct top-up, subscribers will use a PIN to top-up
their account by sending an SMS, detailing the amount to be topped up directly
to their bank.

Subscribers can also use a PIN-less service approach, recharging their
account indirectly via an operator distribution channel member. This channel
member, who might typically be running a small telephone kiosk, uses a special
SIM that acts like a mobile point of sale terminal to recharge subscriber
accounts.

"By providing PreTUPS to AKTEL, we have been able to solidify our
customer-base and operations in Bangladesh. Our thorough knowledge of the
Bangladeshi market has ensured that we are able to provide customized solutions
to AKTEL. This is a significant achievement for our team as we completed the
project in record time with the deployment going live in March 2007,"
remarked Sanjiv Mittal, CEO, Bharti Telesoft.
