Bharti Airtel unit gets new CEO

Bharti Infratel, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has announced the appointment of Devender Singh Rawat as its chief executive officer (CEO). Rawat would be responsible for putting together and driving a concrete long-term strategy for the company and proactively handling matters relating to business augmentation, operations and service excellence. Rawat who succeeds Prem Pradeep, would be reporting to Akhil Gupta, MD, Bharti Infratel Ltd.
