Bharti Airtel increases stake in Nigeria operations

Bharti Airtel has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Bharti Airtel Nigeria BV, has acquired an additional 13.36 percent equity stake
in Airtel Networks, Nigeria from certain existing shareholders.

With this acquisition, Bharti Airtel Nigeria BV now owns 79.06 percent equity stake in Airtel Networks, Nigeria and it is up from 65.7 percent
held earlier.

The financial details of this transaction was not disclosed by the company.

Bharti Airtel offers 2G and 3G services in Nigeria.
