ASUS launches Fonepad 7 at Rs 8,999

ASUS has unveiled Fonepad 7 for the Indian market, which is priced at Rs 8,999.

ASUS Fonepad 7 is a portable 7-inch Android tablet designed with narrow bezels to maximize viewing experience. The Fonepad 7 fully supports the Android 4.4 Kitkat upgrade, and it utilizes Intel Atom 2520 processors.

It features a 2X2 Intel Atom Multi-Core Processor 1.2 GHz with Intel Hyper-Threading technology that puts fast and responsive web browsing, as well as smooth HD video and gaming.

ASUS Fonepad 7 is upgradable to Android 4.4 Kitkat and it also features a MicroSD slot for an additional 64GB of storage.

The ASUS Fonepad 7 delivers an intuitive user experience on a highly portable device that's perfect for work or for play. Use it to read ebooks, for gaming, or to keep up with friends on social media. It comes in four colors--white, blue, black and red, a statement said.
