Astellia inks 3-year deal with Vodafone Czech Republic

Astellia has bagged a 3-year equipment swap project from Vodafone Czech Republic. The contract will enable Vodafone to ensure fast and successful replacement of more than 40 BSCs in its 2G network and deliver the highest customer experience to its subscribers.

With these swap operations, Vodafone aims at reducing both capex and opex while providing enhanced service quality. Vodafone has chosen Astellia for its unique radio optimization expertise and its highly flexible portable probing system, ideal for carrying out performance benchmark audits during equipment swaps, said a press note. The solution will also be used for customer complaint investigations.
