Vijay Rangineni Named CEO of Satyam BPO

Venkatesh Roddam, who heads the business process outsourcing arm, Satyam BPO,
has resigned from his position to pursue other interests. Vijay Rangineni, the
unit's current chief operating officer, will assume the additional
responsibilities of CEO until a permanent replacement comes on board. Venkatesh
has led Satyam BPO with distinction and navigated the organization through a
period of rapid change, and significantly expanded the company's footprint in
new service offerings.

John DiLullo Named New Leader for Avaya in APAC

Avaya has announced the appointment of John DiLullo as President of Avaya's Asia
Pacific region. He will lead operations across Asia Pacific, including sales and
support of the company's technology, applications and industry-specific
businesses. Earlier, DiLullo was vice president, worldwide sales, channels and
field operations at Sonic Wall and vice president, worldwide distribution at
Cisco Systems. DiLullo's more then 20 years of experience brings a strong sales
and channel operations background and good knowledge of Asia to this position.

Aricent Appoints Sudip Nandy as CEO

Aricent named ex-Wipro veteran Sudip Nandy as CEO. Sudip's rich track record and
deep domain expertise in the communications and outsourcing industry make him a
perfect fit. Previously, Nandy was the president of the Technology, Media and
Telecom Business Unit at Wipro, overseeing more than 18,000 people and a revenue
run rate of $1.3 bn per annum.

3COM Appoints Saar Gillani

3Com has announced that Saar Gillani has joined the company as its new
senior vice president of worldwide products and solutions. Gillani brings more
than 20 years of networking experience to 3Com and will be defining the
company's long-term vision for product lines and solutions including the
roadmap, pricing and positioning, and requirements. He will work closely with
the company's R&D and sales teams. Prior to this, Gillani was senior vice
president of product development and operations for Enfora.

BB Anand is AUSPI President

B B Anand, president, Reliance Communications has been elected as the new
president of the Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI).
Anand takes over from Madhav J Joshi who steered the Association of Unified
Service Providers of India (AUSPI) into a new era. AUSPI and its members have
set new standards for the telecom sector to emulate which will continue in the
future.

VoiceGate Strengthens Top Management

VoiceGate, a provider of innovative services like voice processing, voice
recording/call logging, call center, etc has strengthen its top management.
Phani Kumar has joined the company as DGM, finance and HR and would be
responsible for driving the finance and HR functions. KGV Kiran Kumar joins as a
national manager, mobile channel marketing and would be responsible for the
entire VAS operations and related services. Sumithra N is regional manager, VAS
and would be responsible for revenue enhancement, and operator relationships for
the south zone operations of the company.
