Anupam Shrivastava elevated as director, BSNL

Anupam Shrivastava has taken over as director (consumer mobility), BSNL on 1st May, 2013.

Till recently, Anupam Shrivastava worked as senior general manager at Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jaipur in Rajasthan. He was instrumental in bringing mobile in Rajasthan by launching services in Jodhpur. He launched 3G services in Jaipur for the first time in Rajasthan and even NOFN (national optical fiber network) pilot was undertaken in Ajmer under his leadership.

In 1994, he visited Zimbabwe for five years and focused on fixed line and core network development project.

He is a 1981 batch ITS officer and has done his BE in (Electronics & Telecom) and MBA (Marketing) from Jabalpur.
