Alphabetics intros first offline educational tablet @ Rs 9,999

Alphabetics Computer Services, IT Business Solutions company forayed in e-learning sector with the launch of 'TabGuru'. TabGuru offers offline education on tablet PC for the first time. It is powered by Android 4.0.3 operating system. Alpha Edu I and Alpha Edu II is priced at Rs 9,999 and 14,999 respectively.

It comes with pre-loaded educational content, created by the company. The content would be a mix of both animation and video format for both English and regional schools across SSC, ICSE and CBSC Boards. The tablet combines the features of a PC with an Entertainment Device, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage that is extendable upto 32GB and weighs 345g.

Pankaj Kurulkar, CMD, Alphabetics Computer Services said, “There are many good e-learning contents available for ICSE and CBSE boards but lack of investment in computer and low internet penetration in India has resulted in not reaching it the masses. With this launch we are confident of offering an innovative way of delivering content to our target consumers. This will help us creating a niche for ourselves and create a new benchmark for the industry.”

TabGuru is available in 7” & 10” with a screen resolution of 800x480 pixels and 1024x600 pixels respectively and runs on Android 4.0.3 operating system software. Some additional features include 0.3MP camera, a microphone, multi-touch LCD screen & 16 GB Micro SD card.
