Alcatel-Lucent opens regional delivery centre in India

Alcatel-Lucent has opened a new regional delivery center (RDC) in Bangalore. Alcatel-Lucent's new RDC provides services to manage operate and maintain multi-vendor fixed and mobile telecommunications networks based in India or anywhere around the world.

This is the first center of its kind for the company in the Asia Pacific region, and the 4th in the world. Alcatel-Lucent's other RDCs are located in the United States, Poland and Romania. The Bangalore center is already operational and providing round-the-clock services for more than 10 Alcatel-Lucent customers. The center is comprised of 8,000 square feet and is staffed with more than 100 network operations specialists.
