Airtel starts selling 3G services

Airtel has started offering customers 3G wireless USB broadband service even before the roll-out. Available at Rs 3,499 with both pre-paid and post-paid options, the new USB modem enables consumers to experience up to 256 kbps downlink speed at present. But once 3G is in place, consumers will be able to access the Internet at a speed up to 3.6 Mbps. Airtel is selling 3G USB Modem through Airtel relationship centers.
