Agilent Technologies has unveiled U1610A and U1620A handheld oscilloscopes, expanding its portfolio of handheld instruments.
Both the models include two isolated input channels, certified to CAT III 600 V, that protect users and prevent damages to devices when performing floating measurements.
The U1610A has a 100 MHz bandwidth and 1 GSa/s sampling rate while the U1620A provides 200 MHz bandwidth and 2 GSa/s sampling rate. With a maximum memory depth of 2 Mpts, users can capture non-repeating signals such as motor start up sequence, in-rush and transient waveforms without the sacrificing of signal details.
The 5.7-inch (diagonal) sunlight viewable screen encompasses TFT LCD technology with enhanced color intensity to distinguish waveform details.
With resolution of 640x480 pixels, the U1610A and U1620A offer four times the resolution of comparable handheld oscilloscopes. Both the models offer three viewing modes: indoor, outdoor and night vision.
''Our handheld oscilloscopes offer the ultimate viewing experience and provide tremendous convenience in a variety of industrial and electronics applications. The U1610A and U1620A are part of our ongoing efforts to deliver dependable tools that provide essential and innovative capabilities while remaining easy to use,'' said Ee Huei Sin, VP and GM of Agilent's basic instruments division.
Priced at $3,100 and $3,400 respectively, the U1610A and U1620A.oscilloscopes also includes a 10,000-count digital multimeter, and real-time data-logging capabilities.
