15 Starlink satellites were successfully launched into low earth orbit (LEO) on August 7 by SpaceX. On Monday, the liftoff took place at the Vandenberg Space Force Base. The launch was carried out by SpaceX using a Falcon 9 rocket. Within 9.5 minutes of takeoff, the rocket touched down again. This was the booster's fifth launch and landing, according to SpaceX. A short while after takeoff, all of the satellites were deployed. In two consecutive days, SpaceX was successful in launching satellites into orbit. Back on Sunday, the business launched a total of 22 satellites from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

In addition to urban locations, SpaceX will offer internet service in rural areas. Internet access can be provided by the company in places where fibre cannot be deployed. SpaceX must, however, figure out a means to lower the cost of CPE (customer premises equipment) for underdeveloped nations. Currently, many people in poor countries with low incomes won't be able to buy the CPE or the price of the plans provided by Starlink.

The biggest problem for the organisation is adhering to each country's regulatory requirements. It takes a lot of time and money for the company because no two countries have the same regulations.

In India and other South East Asian markets where there is a significant opportunity to scale revenues, Starlink also intends to compete against other competitors like OneWeb. OneWeb is now planning for a commercial launch in India and numerous other nations after finishing its satellite launches. Watching how the satellite broadband business develops in India will be intriguing.

Starlink is a part of Elon Musk's Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX). Musk even expressed his desire to launch Starlink in India during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Indian PM’s recent visit to the United States. Musk noted that Starlink “can be incredibly helpful” in outlying communities lacking high-speed services or internet access.

Additionally, Starlink is reportedly urging India to simply award licences rather than auction the spectrum, arguing that it is a natural resource that should be shared by businesses. Geographical limitations imposed by an auction may increase expenses, it stated in corporate communications that the Indian government made public in June this year.
