TTL integrates all services into Tata Docomo

Tata Teleservices Limited has unveiled an integrated structure under which the company will reach out to customers with one common brand Tata DOCOMO,with this move DOCOMO now steps into the CDMA space, and all Tata Indicom customers shall be migrated to it.

The company's new portfolio of products, applications and solutions will allow consumers to access voice and data services, enjoy content of their choice, and avail of a host of solutions.

As part of the new strategy, TTL has consolidated all organizational assets like spectrum, retail touch-points, digital footprint and consumer franchises across technology platforms under a single brand, Tata DOCOMO.

“Our new strategy will unify our brands and unlock the synergies across the CDMA, GSM & 3G platforms. We are pleased to welcome our Tata Indicom customers into the Tata DOCOMO family, offering them a new world of telecom and lifestyle-impacting experiences,” said Mr Deepak Gulati, Executive President, Mobility Business, Tata Teleservices Limited on the announcement.

The company's CDMA retail footprint will now become accessible for GSM as well and vice versa.

The company has also introduced Photon Max on Tata DOCOMO at a price of Rs 1,999, the latest addition to its Photon family on the CDMA platform, working on Rev.B technology offering high speed data services.

Photon Max will be available in five metros including Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai, along with 22 other cities across the country and is set to be covered by the end of the year.

Initially the migration of services to the unified Tata Docomo brand will happen across the country excluding Delhi-NCR which would be done at a later date. However, TTL’s Indicom, Photon and Walky consumers in Delhi will continue to get the same quality of service as in the past, said a company statement.
