Tarang Launches Payment Gateway for Jordan Telecom

Tarang Software Technologies has announced the launch of an e-commerce payment gateway for Jordan Telecom, through which government, business and citizens in Jordan can process financial transactions online. The contract, between Tarang and Jordan Telecom's subsidiary E-dimension, is valid for five years, according to a company statement. The service, offered to utility companies currently, will later be extended to other government departments, private merchants and retail consumers in Jordan, the release said, adding that Tarang and E-dimension would be working on several e-governance projects in the months to come.
