Samsung Galaxy Tab S to hit Indian market in mid-July

Samsung Electronics Co has launched Galaxy Tab S in 8.4 inch and 10.5 inch variants, which are priced at Rs 37,800 and Rs 44,800 respectively, and will be available in India from mid-July

The Galaxy Tab series are powered with Exynos 5 Octa-core processor and 3GB RAM and a 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable to 128 GB.

Equipped with Android’s Kit-Kat operating system, the tabs have an 8 megapixel rear camera with full HD video in high quality capability and a 2.1 megapixel HD front camera. 

The 10.5 inch tab comes with 3G, Exynos 5 Octa-powered variants.

The tabs are embedded with Super AMOLED displays and the company claims them to be the thinnest and lightest device with Super AMOLED display, which delivers an ingenious tablet experience.

The WQXGA (2560x1600, 16:10) Super AMOLED display delivers more than 90% of Adobe RGB color coverage  and has a remarkable 100,000:1 contrast ratio which provides deeper and more realistic images by making blacks darker and whites brighter.

Pre-set professional modes—AMOLED Cinema and AMOLED Photo—also let users manually adjust the display settings for bright, dynamic results for both video and photo content.

Besides, its longer-lasting battery, and Ultra-Power Saving Mode, the Galaxy Tab S have advanced outdoor visibility technology that makes on-screen content look bright, natural, and easy to view.

Samsung has tied up with mobile content and service providers such as MyPlex , Magzter, Kindle to offer its Galaxy Tab S.
