Samsung eyes 10% revenue from enterprise biz in 2013

Having tasted a great success in consumer electronics space, Samsung

Electronics is all set to take a stride in enterprise market and the

company intends to empower business-to-business market with its

innovative solutions. The company is targeting 10% of revenue

contribution from enterprise business in Southwest Asia in 2013. And

the company anticipates to add over 23% of revenue from enterprise

business to its overall global revenue by 2020, stated Uday Bhatt,

Director - PC Business, Samsung Southwest Asia at Samsung Forum 2013

in Hyderabad.

In line with the Samsung's enterprise strategy, the company also

launched its new global campaign, ‘The New Business Experience'.

"Enterprise will be next evolution from Samsung perspective. This

would be possible because of our relentless stride to innovate and our

constant focus on what our customers want. We design and innovate

around there needs and the experience that they need," affirmed Uday

Bhatt.

As part of its new enterprise strategy, Samsung launched Samsung KNOX,

a mobile enterprise solution. It provides a comprehensive security.

The company also launched Samsung Technology Enterprise Program

(STEP), a comprehensive partner program to empower partners and

differentiate tools to drive mutual growth and profitability in the

market. The program will focus on ensuring that partners are certified

and prepared to both sell and service Samsung's enterprise solutions.
